  • The hassle of transportation, hospital appointments, and re-admission is reduced to a doctor to your home to provide the same service with just a phone call.

  • Clinicians will have the support of Wound Certified PA-c or LPN for consultation and documentation at the patient's bed side.

Responsibilities

  • Under the direction of the Physician, the Office Assistant performs a variety of clerical duties and front office operations in support of the patient care activities such as:

  • Aiding the Clinical Coordinator and Office Administrator in ensuring efficient patient flow and continuous communication within the Wound Masters team.

  • Helping in Scheduling and coordinating patient visits.

  • Answering phones and assisting patients, consistently providing timely and accurate information to patients, physicians, organization personnel, and agencies to achieve the highest possible level of satisfaction.

  • Collecting required information from patient as requested by clinic physician.

  • Sending clinical information and request for additional visits to appropriate agency.

  • Logging any information received. Supporting all administrative functions including record keeping and correspondence.

Qualifications 

  • Minimum one (1) year clerical experience, including filing, basic keyboarding skills.

  • Basic knowledge of Microsoft Office Suite, including Outlook, Word and Excel.

  • Excellent communication skills; customer focused; excellent attention to detail; able to prioritize tasks and meet deadlines; strong interpersonal skills; able to work independently and in a team environment 

  • One (1) year medical front office experience, preferably within an outpatient healthcare system environment.

  • Spanish Speaking.

  • Tagalog Speaking.

  • Knowledge of medical terminology.
